MADE IN GERMANY

The first automatic composting toilet

First-class workmanship, durable materials, and unbeatable functionality. But that's not all that makes HELIPOTT unique. Its compact design and range of sizes allow for versatile applications and installation options.

Whether powered or unpowered, fully automatic or manually operated, HELIPOTT's reliability and convenience make even the longest and most arduous journeys more enjoyable.

This is how HELIPOTT works

The agitator

The heart of every HELIPOTT is a stirring mechanism made of high-quality stainless steel.

It is responsible for mixing excreted solids with dry substrate (we recommend only unfertilized coconut substrate).

Immediate mixing of the solids with the substrate virtually eliminates odors.

The separation

A convenient separator attachment ensures that solid and liquid waste ends up where it should:

The solids in the mixer, the liquids in the urine canister.

For complete odor elimination, our exhaust kit can be installed, which carries odors outside.

An odor seal on the urine canister ensures that there are no smells.

Please fill it up!

Fill the mixer with as dry a coconut substrate as possible, right up to the tips of the mixing blades, insert the canister and you're ready to go! Please dispose of the toilet paper in the bin.

Blue Replacement Kaka demonstrates in this video how reliably the agitator works.

In the model E-Drive Everything happens fully automatically when the lid is closed.

The model Easy It is operated manually using a front-mounted hand crank and without electricity.

And the best part: One filling of coconut substrate is enough for 20-30 uses! You don't need to refill the substrate during this time.

The end result is an earth-like mass that has the look, smell, and texture of natural soil. When not in use, the toilet goes into standby mode and behaves like soil in a flowerpot for weeks or even months. You'll know when the mass is exhausted when it forms clumps and should be replaced with fresh coconut coir.

SMART DETAILS

Hinges with adjustable friction

Each HELIPOTT is equipped with robust stainless steel hinges with adjustable friction. This allows the resistance when moving the lid to be adjusted.

Exhaust system

An exhaust kit can be installed or retrofitted to our HELIPOTT models. The kit can be mounted in three different locations (left, right, or rear) on the housing, depending on the installation situation. The internal fan is included as standard with the E-Drive. The exhaust kit is optional.

Odor seal for the urine canister

The urine canister comes with a lid featuring an odor seal and small vents, which is screwed onto the canister during use. This allows liquids to enter the canister but prevents odors from escaping. (The color of the lid and odor seal may vary depending on availability.)

Off-road package

When things get really bumpy, you can use your HELIPOTT with our optional Off-road package upgrade.

Which one will be your HELIPOTT?

What else do you need?

Coconut coir is available in our shop in unfertilized, compact brick form. When dissolved, 8 liters of loose substrate (for sizes S and M) is sufficient for approximately 25-30 uses. Ensure the brick is dissolved as dry as possible. For the 8-liter brick, this is achieved with approximately 0.6-0.7 liters of water. The bag in which the substrate is dissolved can be reused. Then, fill the mixing bowl with substrate up to the tips of the vertically positioned agitator blades.

Our plastic scraper makes emptying easier. You can use it to loosen the soil-like mass and remove any stuck-on bits. It is included with every HELIPOTT order.

The HELIPOTT M and L models include a 10-liter urine canister, while the S model includes a 7-liter canister. A lid with an opening and odor seal is also included.

The built-in sensor in the E-Drive reports when the canister needs to be emptied.

DIE HELIPOTT STORY

What do you do when none of the toilet systems available on the market meet your needs? For the design team of Peter and Christine Philipp, developers of HELIPOTT and passionate campers and sailors themselves, with a family, the answer was clear: develop something suitable themselves. With over 30 years of experience in special-purpose machine construction, they passionately and wholeheartedly drove the development of what is probably the most advanced compact toilet.

What began as a playful project ultimately became a mammoth undertaking that could only succeed with the support of long-standing, experienced partners.

It was particularly important that the new toilet be user-friendly, environmentally friendly, completely safe, and fully automatic. This makes it easy to use and eliminates user errors. Developing it to series production took more than three years and consumed more time and resources than initially anticipated. Many hurdles had to be overcome. HELIPOTT is not only the first toilet of its kind, but also the first manufactured to industrial standards. Built in our Swabian factory – for the highest standards and unparalleled quality – MADE IN GERMANY.
